First step, get married. Second step, start a blog of course! Something crazy occured within me after I got married, I started thinking about cooking. Before it was very hit or miss. Maybe I'd end up making an actual meal once a week. And thats okay for a single college student. In fact, its the norm. But now I have a husband to feed! I am full of responsibility! And even better than that, a second person to test my cooking. I've never really fancied cooking before. It was just too much work to be worth it. And honestly, it seemed to be more expensive then just the quick stuff (ramen, canned soup, freezer meals). But now, not only do the meals seem to take care of a dinner, but then they usually last for a couple days as leftovers too! It's incredible.
So anyway, when I decided a couple weeks ago to take up cooking and see what could come of it, I ran into a bit of a problem. What to cook? And how do I know its going to be good? And worth it? Well first off, what to cook can still be challenging. But i'm finding success! And to find out if its good or worth it, i just need to jump in and try it. After cooking a few things and having such grand success (at least in mine and Evan's eyes :) ) I thought, wow wouldn't other people like to make this? Especially when they see how easy (or really how hard it is)? Wouldn't other people like recipe ideas and REAL feedback of how a it turns out with a beginner cooker?
Well, I don't know if this is really what other people want. I know I would've wanted it. But even if not, at least it can be a place for me to store recipes and my feedback from each of them. But if other peole do read this know i will try to include how long it took me, how easy it was, and how much it was enjoyed! So here goes nothing!!!
